Storyline: Chapter 2 Page 18
November 18th, 2014I recently finished playing through Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth 2, and it’s still hilarious that Edgeworth’s magic power is logic. I don’t know why, but the game felt really long, teetering on tedious for most of the second half of the game. But I’ve felt this way about most of the spin-off Ace Attorney games, so I don’t know if it’s just me being used to the gameplay or if it’s due to the quality of the games’ writing or what.
To recover from Ace Attorney, I decided to play more Ace Attorney, and started playing Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright. I’ve only played through the prologue, but I am over the moon that:
- this game even exists, because I was really afraid they weren’t going to localize it
- they included elements from both games in the gameplay
- Phoenix and Maya’s voice actors are spot-on
- Phoenix’s voice actor ESPECIALLY is spot-on
- really, Phoenix’s voice actor is SPOT. ON.
Found you today. Read everything. Seems like you’re just starting out story writing. I really enjoy the “Diary Comics”. When do you think you’ll have time to have a regular update schedule?
Wow, thanks! Yes, I’ve been writing off and one for several years, but I’m still a beginner when it comes to story writing. 🙂 I had a regular Tuesday update schedule for a while, dropped off, and for the past couple weeks I’ve successfully been on schedule again. ^^
That game really is the best thing ever! I just finished my copy (I got distracted by Alpha Sapphire…), and it was SO GOOD!!! But, as usual, the ending only made partial sense.
Haha, fortunately I managed to finish it before I got sucked into Omega Ruby. But you’re totally right, Layton game endings are always a little nonsensical 😛
