I made another Neat Things comic and it’s loosely based on a conversation I had about penguins last week! I think this is setting a downward trajectory for the topics of these comics… 😛
Sigh. I’m mildly annoyed when polar bears and penguins are portrayed together. Polar bears are native to the NORTH pole, penguins are found in the SOUTH pole! Completely opposite sides of the planet!
Still, at least it’s not as bad as when shows have cavemen and dinosaurs in the same time period. The only mammals around back then were tiny primitive rodent-like things!
Plus it’s kind of a waste. There were lots of cool, giant, scary animals around in the paleolithic era (sabre-tooth tigers, ‘terror birds’, dire wolves, etc.), and they could use those, or make up new ones and say they just haven’t been discovered yet. Dinosaurs should look tame in comparison!
Frankly, I think this strip is the most interesting one of these I’ve seen. Penguin Knees! Who’d’a thought???
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks!
Yeah, this is interesting and cute. Don’t sweat it!
Haha, that’s good! Thank you!
Love this. Especially the sound-effect.
